Having trouble getting into Civic Bubble? Here's step-by-step help for both iPhone and Android users. If you still need help after trying these steps, scroll to the bottom for how to reach us.
iPhone — Getting In
Signing up for the first time
You have three easy ways to create your account, in order of speed:
- Sign Up with Apple (fastest) — tap the black button at the top of the sign-up screen. Apple shares your name and email automatically (or lets you hide your email), and there's no extra verification step.
- Sign Up with Google Account — tap the Google button. Apple's system picker shows your iCloud-stored Google accounts so you can sign up in one tap.
- Email and password — fill in the form (first name, last name, email, password). We'll send a 6-digit verification code to your email, which iOS will usually offer to autofill from your Mail app.
After your account is created, we'll ask for your Georgia address so we can show your districts, elected officials, news, and elections.
Logging in (returning users)
- Tap the red Login button on the landing screen.
- Sign in with the same method you used to create your account — Sign in with Apple, Login with Google Account, or your email and password.
- If you don't remember your password, tap Forgot Password? below the password field and we'll email you a reset code.
"This account was created with Google" or "with Apple"
If the app tells you your account was created with Google or Apple, that means there's no password on it. Tap the matching Sign in with Apple or Login with Google Account button instead of typing a password.
Forgot password — step by step
- On the Login screen, tap Forgot Password?
- Your email should already be filled in. Tap Send Reset Code.
- Check your email for a 6-digit code from Civic Bubble. iOS will usually offer to autofill it above the keyboard — one tap.
- Enter a new password and confirm it. Tap Set New Password.
- You'll be signed in automatically.
Android — Getting In
Signing up for the first time
You have two ways to create your account:
- Sign Up with Google Account (recommended) — tap the Google button. Android's system account picker shows your phone's Google accounts so you can sign up in one tap. No browser, no detours.
- Email and password — fill in the form (first name, last name, email, password). We'll send a 6-digit verification code to your email.
After your account is created, we'll ask for your Georgia address so we can show your districts, elected officials, news, and elections.

Common questions
How do I tell what app version I have?
The version number is shown at the bottom of the Login and Sign Up screens. There's also a Check for updates link there — tap it to open the App Store or Play Store directly.
The app says my email is already in use
That usually means you've signed up with Google or Apple in the past. Try those buttons instead of entering a password. The app will detect this in most cases and show you a hint pointing to the right button.
Still stuck?
Inside the app, use the Report an Issue link below the Login or Sign Up buttons. Or email us at info@civicbubble.com and we'll help you in.
